Accused righteous winger:
President Clinton finally answered the question elequently and completely. It’s unfortunate that he allowed the message to almost be lost in his rant against Wallace. It would have been so much better if he could have restrained his outburst to a more appropriate forum.
He had to know the right wing questions were going to be asked- to fiegn righteous indignation in being asked questions he knew were going to be asked is below him. I believe he also crossed the line by personally attacking Wallace, who is paid to ask the questions- he stops short of saying Wallace was personally behind the “blatant attack” on him.
I surely hope you do better next time Mr. President- I usually enjoy your oratory.

the message was “almost lost???” puh-leeze. why use “eloquently” if you thought so. his message was perfectly clear, and he had plenty of reasons to be indignant. especially 7 years after his presidency, after trillions of dollars ill-spent with no results.
“do better next time???” are you kidding? Do you honestly think Cheney, GW, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, or any of those goons will ever do half as well as Clinton did here? even on a right-wing channel, they come across as half-wits?
i’d choose the Rhodes Scholar over the C-student windshield cowboy any day of the week. especially with a future Nobel laureate as VP.
