Durano Lawayan:
I don’t know if McCain is really more liberal than most Republicans or is merely pretending to be so. Either way, I believe voters will not overlook his age nor his endurance in electing a president. The media likes him, and he seems to be a sentimental favorite; but for a 71 year old to position himself as a change agent is a bit of a stretch, don’t you think? –Durano, done!

I remember that in 2000 I really fell for that “Straight Talk Express” crap. In fact, I almost registered as a Republican so I could vote against Bush twice (and for McCain) in the primaries. But after he won New Hampshire it really freaked out the Bush campaign and somebody got the message because that push polling fiasco took the wind out of the McCain campaign’s sails.
But what I really remember was that during the 2004 convention McCain stood on that stage next to Bush and talked about what a good leader he was. McCain has no integrity. If someone attacked my family like that (as in the push polling) I would never forgive or forget. McCain sold the his own honor and that of his family for his last chance to be the establishment nominee.
Straight Talk Express my ass.

More like the “Straight Jacket Express”. McCain said it doesn’t matter if were in Iraq for 10,000 years.
