Evan Sayet, you have got to be kidding.

The fact that McSame has Phil Gramm as his economic campaign advisor should tell you all you need to know about McCain's stupidity as well as Gramm's deregulation efforts :

[ John McCain admitted he "doesn't really understand economics" and then pointed to his adviser and former Senate colleague, Phil Gramm ]

[ Who's to blame for the biggest financial catastrophe of our time? There are plenty of culprits, but one candidate for lead perp is former Sen. Phil Gramm. Eight years ago, as part of a decades-long anti-regulatory crusade, Gramm pulled a sly legislative maneuver that greased the way to the multibillion-dollar subprime meltdown. Yet has Gramm been banished from the corridors of power? Reviled as the villain who bankrupted Middle America? Hardly. Now a well-paid executive at a Swiss bank, Gramm co-chairs Sen. John McCain's presidential campaign and advises the Republican candidate on economic matters. He's been mentioned as a possible Treasury secretary should McCain win. That's right: A guy who helped screw up the global financial system could end up in charge of US economic policy. Talk about a market failure. ]

McCain is "DOING SOMETHING"?
Yeah, right! Playing Politics & MAKING EXCUSES NOT TO DO MORE THAN ONE THING AT A TIME SOMETHING! Tell us please, how could he govern if he "MUST STOP THE WORL" 'cause he has ONE CRISIS or another to address! It is intrinsically essential to be president to MULTITASK. EXCUSESS ARE UNACCEPTABLE.
Yet all we get from the McCain campaign & the GOP are EXCUSES!
EXCUSES! EXCUSES! EXCUSES!
Like those we're constantly given re: THE SUPERSTAR STRARNGER AMONG US, SARAH PALIN!
Ms Palin CLAIMS & BRAGS about MULTITASKING as a mother, wife & governor of Alaska, YET only offers EXCUSES when it comes to MULTITASKING while campaigning. SHE IS TOO BUSY when it comes to meeting with the press & letting us see WHAT SHE IS ALL ABOUT. Are the McCain campaign & the GOP aware that by doing this they are only making her look like SHE TALKS THE TALK & THAT’S THAT? Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t MULTITASKING a bit more than talking from both sides of your mouth?
And while I'm at it, what is this CHARADE about Ms Palin GAINING FOREIGN POLICY EXPERIENCE by meeting FOR A 3 SECONDS PHOTO OP with foreign dignitaries? EXCUSE ME, but this is as RIDICULOUS as me claiming I’m an Oscar Winner because I met many Oscar winners when I ushered at the NYSF Public Theater.
GET REAL!

A LIE IS A LIE IS A LIE!

Silly, childish and shallow. Sad, really. Both sides recognize that we are in a financial crisis. It can be solved with leadership or exacerbated by partisan gamesmanship. Once again, Obama is out there talking while John McCain is in the center of things getting things done.
