  1. Paul:

In my opinion the Republican Party has been taken over the most extreme religious right (people who love to push their beliefs on others while trying to take away their rights) and that’s who they need to focus on if they real want to win. Good Luck, because as they said in WACO, “We Ain’t Coming Out”.

In the same vein, to all the birthers in La, La Land, it is on you to prove to all of us that your assertion is true, if there are people who were there and support your position then show us the video (everyone has a price), either put up or frankly shut-up. I heard Orly Taitz, is selling a tape (I think it’s called “Money, Lies and Video tape”). She is from Orange County, CA, now I know what the mean when they say “behind the Orange Curtain”, when they talk about Orange County, the captial of Conspiracy Theories. You know Obama has a passport, he travel abroad before he was a Senator, but I guess he fooled them too?

  2. JamesF:

You first point is exactly why the original birth certifacte will never be produced…it will allow the democratic party to paint all republicans as crazy people who believe this nonsense..

However, the second point is not entierly true. It is up to the presidential canidate to prove that he is eligible for the office. The question to whether his must prove this to the citizens of the country or not is what will be decided by the courts.

  3. Lefty McLefterson:

Seriously James. Obama produced the birth certificate to the satisfaction of the director of the State Department of Health in Hawaii. Or is that not valid since YOU haven’t seen it?

You lose all credibility by siding with these fucking nutjobs.

  4. JamesF:

I think it is clear that I am not siding with these people, however thanks for proving my first point.. democrats will use this issue to paint all conservatives as “fucking nutjobs”.

I wouldn’t be able to to tell a good from a fake, so what good would I be?

I am just saying that it is an open question as to who exactly has the right to challenge the qualifications of the President.

  5. Lefty McLefterson:

I don’t think that it is clear that you’re not siding with these people.

This question has been asked and answered and yet you’re saying things like “the original birth certificate will never be reproduced”

And I’m sure that as a Republican the truth has kind of an unfamiliar sting in your mouth James, but let’s be clear here. I’m not painting ALL conservatives with the nutjob tag over this specific issue.

    However, if the shoe fits…

Seriously James. What universe do you live in where Hillary Clinton wouldn’t have sniffed this out during the primaries if it were true???

  6. JamesF:

You are absoluelty right about Hillary and the “Clinton machine”, they definetly would have found this if it were true.

So let me be clear…if President Obama wanted to end this, he could very easily produce the birth certifacate they are asking for. My statement is above states my belief that the reason he will not do this is that he wants to be able to cast the Republicans as a bunch of whackos who cannot get over the election ( similar to those who claim that Bush stole the 2000 election). That does not indicate that the birth certifcate doe snot exist, it indatces that I believe it does exist but will continue to be withheld to keep this issue as a political tool.

  7. Lefty McLefterson:

Should he have to? He has already released it to the appropriate authorities who vetted it.

Why should he have to release it again? Just because a bunch of Right-Wing Whackjobs are whining about it?

Where does it end? At what point does the President get to say no to those nutbags?

I can only imagine how sympathetic you’d be to a request for information if it was Liberals demanding information from a Republican administration. Somehow, I don’t think you’d be quite as charitable.
