Here’s a little something that MENSA Dave (he’s super smart and totally not a racist) posted to me on blog catalog

This is cut and pasted and spelling errors are his since MENSA apparently doesn’t ensure that members know how to use spell-check.

Just ran across your Blog. I’m gald you are at least honest , and I quote “I make no attempt to be fair and balanced”. You have lots of friends - CNN, NBC, MSNBC, NY Times, Chicago Trib, LA Times. Fox is an advocate for the right, but they do not lie about it, or try to pretend otherwise. They do present both sides with the oportunity to express their opinions, no matter how distasteful, moronic or dishonest they may be. I used to be a Democrat. I still detest the Bush - Chaney Administration. But today I detest the Richard Daley Chicago Democratic Party that has spawned the likes of Harry Reed, Nancy Pelosi, and the Charletin con man Obama. So are you an honest blog. Then why not tackle this issue (I am white - a distastefull word, as is black, or red, etc; 60, educated, intelligent (mensa); semi retired oildield consulting engineer/supervisor with 35 years of work worldwide - I have worked and lived with people of virtually every racial and religious grouping on Earth)

Racism is “alive and well” (an expression), ALL over the world - try being Korean in Japan, or Philipino in Saudi, etc, etc, etc. In America, it is evident in the “white” population - 15% admiit to racial predjudices - 30% is probably more accurate. But 93% of blacks are voting for a black candidate in this years election Not a party “thing”, they polled that way against Hilary, a person who has done more for minority rights than any black man since MLK. Do you have the guts to address this issue - and why haven’t black “leaders done so? This is pure and simple racism at its lowest common denominator. Blacks (I hate descritors like that) represent 10% of the population and will probably over represent themselves in this years election - 12-13%. At a 90% spread (93-90 - poll numbers, not mine), and a dead heat election 42-42 (50-50), remove the black vote statistically, and the numbers are 56-44 Republican. If Obama somehow wins, this is NOT democracy, but a “coup” by a very, very, very racist group, to impose an ideology and agenda on the majority. If the party affiliations were reversed, I would argue the same. I meet and talk to a lot of people - smart people, motivated people - doers, not dreamers; producers, not promisers, and their is that awareness. This issue will be brought out of the shadows into the light. It can be a beneficial process if it stimulates honest discussion. If kept hidden it will breed more racism from the non black community, and a certain backlash that could set back racial relations in the US 30 years. Immagine 93% white, or hispanic, or women voting against not just Obama, but every black candidate that stands for office. Black reoresentation will plumit. It will happen. So do you have the guts to “get it out there”. Somebody will. This is NOT a right versus left issue. It is only because the left is gaining advantge from it at the moment.
I don’t know your blog, but a response calling me racist will be posted on other bulletin boards - you would look foolish (if you know my friends and familly and history). A positive response and action would be to your credit. The above news agencies won’t post - their biases are obvious. Fox will, but I haven’t gone there. That would be confrontational - not what I want. But I will go there if necessary.

Dear Dave,

First of all, threatening that me calling you a racist will get posted on bulletin boards and I’ll be ridiculed and blah blah blah. You are certainly welcome to, but then you’re also welcome to kiss my ass Dave!

If you were serious about wanting to post some tough questions about my blog then why the hell didn’t you just submit them to my blog instead of over here? I’m pretty sure a MENSA member should know how to work that new-fangled email in the Internets.

You’ve got several ridiculous arguments in your diatribe so I’ll try and tackle them one at a time.

Your assertion that the media has such a liberal slant is just the usual Republican whining. Is your idea that if they disagree with the Republicans they must be Liberal? You are talking about the same media that spent the better part of a year in a witch-hunt over Bill Clinton’s blowjob. The same media that rolled over and let George W Bush get us into a bullshit war. They didn’t take him to task over his repeated lies about the intelligence leading up to the war, or maybe even the fact that he didn’t explore diplomacy, but just decided that it was time to invade Iraq. It took maybe three years for them to start questioning his linkage of 9/11 to Iraq, which we not know doesn’t exist. They also didn’t take him to task or ask him any real hard questions about his lazy-ass attitude toward international terrorism prior to 9/11 or his completely inept response to it. Let’s see, what else didn’t they call him on?

The media has consistently been so afraid of being labeled Liberal that they have slanted more and more to the right.

And I love how you concede that maybe Faux News is a little biased, but they don’t “lie about it or pretend otherwise.” Really Dave? They don’t pretend otherwise, so I guess their bullshit slogan “Fair And Balanced” is about weights and measures? Give me a break.

Faux News is the propaganda arm of the Republican party. Scott McClellan, you remember him, former White House press secretary says the White House routinely sent out talking points to Faux News
http://thinkprogress.org/2008/07/26/mcclellan-fox-talking-points/

But then again, he’s not saying positive things about Republicans so he must be a liar, right?

And let’s see, oh you’re not a racist because you’ve “lived and worked with people of nearly every racial group?” Somehow that means you’re not a racist? These two statements have nothing to do with each other. I love how you have to qualify your statements with what follows. It’s the equivalent of “Hey, I’m about to say some racist things, but I’m not a racist”.

I’m not crazy about the hierarchy of the Democratic party myself. They are way too conservative for my taste, and not nearly confrontational enough with their Republican counterparts. Hell, I’m not even going to argue with you being unhappy with Pelosi or Reid. They should hold you Republicans down and kick you in the nuts repeatedly, as the Republicans were only so happy to do to the rest of the country for 6 of the last 8 years.

You may not like Obama or want to vote for him, but a charlatan? Give me a break. I suppose you think he’s a Muslim too, which brings me to another point.

Really, Hillary Clinton has done more for minority rights than any black man since MLK? Where does that come from? The Institute of Statistical Analysis based in your ass? Hyperbole doesn’t become you Dave.

You are suggesting that the overwhelming support of the black community for Obama is all about racism? It couldn’t possibly be tied to the fact that the black community has historically sided with the Democratic candidate, or even possibly because the Republicans have done their level best for 30 years to piss all over Civil Rights legislation? It’s a little difficult to think that the Republicans don’t have a different set of standards for black vs. white / rich vs. poor, when you look at the way George W Bush drug his feet 3 years ago when hurricane Katrina hit. However, he was right on the ball when a bunch of rich white dudes up in New York started having money problems.

I suppose it’s not racism that a statistically significant (last I read 13%) of Americans say they won’t vote for Obama because “He’s a Muslim”.

Dave, I also love the way you whine that an ‘overrepresented’ black vote. I bet you didn’t bitch in 2004 when the Evangelicals turned out in droves because they wanted to vote against gays being able to marry. Yup, there was no greater issue facing the country in 2004 than boys kissing boys and girls kissing girls.

And here ya go Dave. For the money, so you can post to your bulletin boards. I think you’re a hypocrite and a racist. It appears that you’re unable to think beyond the boundaries of your own experience and I don’t want my children growing up in the world people like you would try and govern.

You’re certainly welcome to contact me directly @ leftymclefterson@leftwingconspiracy.com, but it’s probably be better if you just crawled in your hole and commiserated with the rest of your Republican dittoheads.

And of course, as always, you’re welcome to START YOUR OWN GODDAMN WEBSITE.

I completely understand that you a strong Democrat and i repsect this. I
just want to preface this email with the statement that this is all in
friendly debate.
That being said, I’d like to show you a comment i left on one of your
posters:

I find it slightly disturbing that you group Muslims in with terrorists.
Only a small group of Muslims actually are terrorists. I also find it
offensive that you bring my God into this as a BAD or INCORRECT thing. Last
i heard, your view and the view of this country is that we should separate
Church and State and you are actually doing the opposite by using religion
as a tool against Republicans. Besides, if you want to referance prayer,
then at least try and understand what prayer really is. And do it with an
open heart so that you might hear what prayer is and not something you may
just want to hear. By the way, i am well aware of your first ammendment
rights. I am simply expressing my own.

This was partly directed at the previous comment and partly at your poster.
I was also wondering why you are so determined to hate Bush? i understand
you disagree with many if not all of his policies, and i’m not saying i
completely support him, but i am simply asking why you are determined to
hate our leader in a time when unity is vital. A broken country is a weak
country and i am wondering why your blog is determined to hate Republicans
or right-wingists. The separation of this country is killing us and not
only do we need a unifying leader (REGARDLESS of their political party) but
we as citizens need to unify ourselves rather than focus on differences we
may have. I was wondering your views on the matter. Again, i’m not
attacking you, ahting you, or anything of this nature. This is simply a
friendly debate and i hope you will respect my opinion as much as i respect
yours.

With high regards,

Where to even start….

You think I’m a strong Democrat? How clear can I make it that the
lack of a backbone in the politicians on the Left makes me sick.
Everybody seems to be playing not to lose instead of playing to win.
All of our politicians need to stand up and let people know who they
are and what they stand for. Instead everybody tried to straddle the
fence on every issue hoping not to lose any votes.

Now you are complaining that somebody left a comment on my site that
grouped Muslims in with terrorists. Big deal. In case you hadn’t
noticed the entire war on terror that has been president Bush’s best
friend for the last 7 years is intimately connected with Muslim
extremism.

So next you’re ‘offended’ that “your” god has been brought into a
discussion as a bad or incorrect thing. Here’s the deal: your
president (’cause he sure as hell isn’t mine) has consistently invoked
religion, Jesus, god, and spirituality as a political tool.

The fact is that as a so-called follower of Jesus, George W Bush
continually tries to fuck over the poor in favor of the rich and well
heeled. His is the worst kind of hypocrite. He will invoke his
belief in god when it suits him, but he has no problem acting against
just about every tenant of Christ’s teachings. Can you imagine Bush
throwing the money changers out of the temple? Yeah, me neither.

Your next question? Why am I so determined to hate Bush? Well not
that it’s any of your business, but I don’t hate him. I don’t know
him. He disgusts me and I’m ashamed that he’s managed to slime his
way into the White House for the last two terms. He’s an
embarrassment to my country and the office of the presidency. His
disasterous foreign policy will be haunting the US for at least
another generation. And my grandchildren will be paying for his
deficit. In short, he’s the worst president I’ve ever seen in my
lifetime. But I don’t hate the guy. I hear he’s quite nice.

The other idea that we can’t dislike him “at a time when unity is
vital” is typical Republican bullshit. George Bush created the
situation in Iraq. He got us into a war of choice. Yes, he’s tried
to tie to to Weapons of Mass Destruction, then 9/11, and then just
terrorism in general. But the truth of the matter is that he wanted
to take out Saddam. Maybe it was some daddy issue, but our country
shouldn’t be paying the price for his dysfunction.

9/11 united the whole country under George W Bush. What did he do
with it? He got a nice fat tax cut for the rich. Imagine what a real
president might have done? Possibly captured Bin Laden in
Afghanistan? Possibly even made getting off of foreign oil a national
priority. Instead this useless president got a tax cut for his fat
cat friends and told us to go shopping.

We do need a unifying leader. So much damage has been done by this
administration and Republicans in general that I don’t think it’ll be
one of them. Why is my blog determined to dislike Right-Wingers?
Because they’ve fucked my country up.

What is worse than politicians, both republican, and democrate, the administration, and the media? It’s all those Monica’s running oruond the country. And Lewinski was not the first. The entire US Congress, The Current Administration, and the entire media are living proof that there are a lot of women out there that either didn’t spit, or forgot to flush it, if and, when they did!

    Wow, Lefty.
I think you just epitomized my entire political ideology. Thank you, I needed that.

The media is really a major problem in this organism. They knowingly build up and break down candidates based on their ability to drive advertising sales and make money. Barak is ahead in the polls, lets tear him down and build up McCain……. the closer they are , the more people watch tv and the more money we make.

reality becomes an issue in this scenario, thus destroying our society a little bit every day. The pass Bush got on Iraq is a perfect example: the people were clamoring for blood and the media went along with it. disgraceful

    fed up. http://www.walkyourdogma.com

  4. ur momma:

both of you are full of shit. Im not gonna sit here and say that bush has done a great job or that we wouldnt have entered iraq regardless of the twin towers and 9/11, but bush got a shit ton of shit thrown at him. between 9/11 and the nice economic buble reagan left bush entered in at the wrong time. the econonomy regardless of the war is going to dwindle reagonomics fucked us over by destroying the antitrust lwas and shipping jobs over seas. sure this helped us out at the time but now the consequences of his “quick fixes” are hurting us in a time when we need to concentrate on the war on terror and our fuel and not god damn fucking polar bears. GOD BLESS AMERICA

  5. God:

About the grouping of muslims with extremism, if their religion is so pathetic to allow itself to be streched to the point where 17 year olds blow themselves up because they think it will get them laid, then nobody should have a problem with “grouping” the two together. i hate polar bears.SCREW ALLA.

Finally someone who believes you cannot be too extreme when criticizing the Republicans and the damage their interpretation of christianity and patriotism has done to the future of this country. Some people believe they are simply misguided, mean, selfish, narcissistic, ignorant or un American. Having been a extreme right wing conservative christian republican I know for a fact the Republican’s motives are based on nothing short of a sadistic need to inflict as much pain and suffering on the majority of Americans as possible while doing the same to people the world over.

damn you to hell you hippie weasel patrick im not liberaal cuz there gay im not conservative cuz there dick holes but u sir are a gay dickhole

  10. God:

Alright Patrick, you definently needed beat when you were a kid, maybe your dad could of put a little sense through that liberal little brain of yours. Patriotism and Christianity are the only two thing that have kept this country alive for over two hundred years. And they are the only things that will ever save this country from liberal cock suckers like you. Besides if patriotism and christianity have to fuck the world over to keep amrica safe and on to, then why shouldn’t it? why shouldn’t the rest of the world be forced into believing the only true religion the only true way of life? why shouldn’t we pay for happiness with a small period of hellish world war to acheive true peace, or true unity, under one way of life?
